Went to Safeway to get in on the $5 off $15 FROZEN FOOD COUPON they had in their ad this week.  Here are the transactions I made.

$.99 each when you buy 4 store sale
Used 2 $.50 off two Betty Crocker Fruit Snack coupons from the 2-13-11 General Mills Everday Saver coupon insert
Total Cost $4.95
-$1 in coupons
Final out of pocket $3.95
And I got back a $3 on your next order catalina and a $1.50 off 3 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks catalina,

TRANSACTION #2

Bought 5 MORE Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks
$.99 each when you buy 4 store sale
Used 2 $.50 off two Betty Crocker Fruit Snack coupons from the 2-13-11 General Mills Everday Saver coupon insert
Total Cost $4.95
-$1 in coupons
-$3 catalina from previous transaction
Final out of pocket $.95  ($.19 each)
And I got back another $3 on your next order catalina and $1.50 off 3 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks catalina.

- what I could have done was buy 5 more in another transaction and used the $1.50 off 3 and the $.50 off 2 and something else I needed, then used the $3 off your next catalina which would give me a $.05 overage to apply to that 6th item.  sounds confusing, but it works.

Used $3 catalina from previous purchase
Final out of Pocket $9.43 (Ave cost of $1.35 per item)

Then I got back:
3  - $1.25 Catalinas off your next order coupons from the California Pizza
1 - $1 off 2 California Pizza Kitchen Catalina
1 - $3 Catalina off your next order for buying 4 Temptations
1 - Buy one Get One Free bottle of Propel Catalina - not sure what triggered this, could have been from the customer in front of me who didn't get this one from the cashier.


It was like paying $2.68 for all this after catalinas received.
