Albertsons Doubler Run Feb 8 2011

ALBERTSONS DOUBLERS ARE COMING!! ALBERTSONS DOUBLERS ARE COMING - AGAIN SUNDAY!!!!


Here are some examples of what I picked up using the Albertsons Doublers.  These could give you some ideas on what to use yours on.  If you get the Sunday Paper they will be in there!

Paid $3.78 out of pocket for this candy and syrup.

My youngest likes to put Valentine Candy on her Valentines she takes to school.  I like to save money on V-Day candy.

Bought 2 Sweetarts Lollilpos $2.39 each
Used 2 - $1 off 1 coupons
AND Used 2 Albertsons Doublers
final Cost $.39 each

Bought 2 Aunt Jemima Syrup regular cost $4.29 each, on sale for $2.50 each
Used 1 - $1 off 2 coupons
AND used 1 Albertsons Doubler
Final Cost $3 ($1.50 each)

Transaction Total $ 3.78. 
this would have cost $9.78 without the coupons, just buying it on sale.

Bought 1 A1 Steak Sauce - it wasn't on sale but my hubby really wanted it to go with the meat I bought at Safeway Sunday!

Used "get one free" coupon Yoplait mailed me that I blogged about earlier
Final Cost FREE

bought 1 Carefree Pantiliner $2.79
Used $1 off 1 coupon

Final Cost $.79

Transaction cost $1.77 plus $.42 tax.
Total out of pocket $2.19
total saved with coupons $6.69

I needed an easy meal that hubby could make since I wouldn't be home for dinner.  I paid $7.49 for this purchase which seems like a lot, but considering just 1 of the Hormel items retails for $7.99 it wasn't too bad.  I actually paid less than one item cost all buy itself.    This is a perfect example of saving money....had I only bought the Hormel ready made product I would have paid $7.99.  I paid $.50 less just by using coupons and buying the butter too!

Paid $7.01 for batteries - normally I like to get this stuff at Rite Aid super cheap if not free, but I had some extra doublers to use up and my daughter was bugging me for batteries for her camera!  see kids make you spend more when u take them to the store with you.


Bought 3 packs of Energizer Batteries
Used 3 - $1 off coupons found attached to the battery display in the store
AND Used 3 Albertsons Doublers
Final Cost $5.97 for all 3 or $1.99 each
Plus tax $1.04 - you always have to pay tax no matter what!

Tax $.35
Final Cost out of pocket $5.82  = averages out to about a $1 an item
saved $5.50 in coupons
